Students and faculty filled Central’s main gym on Sept. 18 for the Homecoming Kick Off Assemblies in which members of each graduating class participated in the “Homecoming Games” to earn points for their grade. The first assembly featured the juniors versus the seniors and the second assembly featured the freshmen versus the sophomores. The games included a relay race, a dance competition, a cheer-off and a tug of war.

The seniors and freshmen are tied for first place with 800 points, the sophomores are in second place with 550 points and the juniors are in last place with 450 points. Students can earn more points for their class by participating in dress-up days during the week of Sept. 21.

This year’s Homecoming Court was also introduced during Friday’s assemblies. Members are seniors Doug Albert, Stone Cai, Carlos Garcia, Michael Gentile, Trent Graves, Kyle Mallen, Anthony Miser, Scott Piper, Kevin Trickey, Miles Weimer, Tiffany Chen, Kerri Donovan, Diamond Hannon, Mia Jimenez, Cristina McCormack, Maureen Musgrave, Eliza Perchanok, Marissa Pintozzi, Stephanie Robinson and Hannah Swarm.

Juniors and seniors can vote for Homecoming Queen and King via the link on Naperville Central’s website until Sept. 24. Homecoming Royalty will be announced on Sept. 25 during the Crowning Assemblies.
