Students trying to get home from school were delayed because of a car crash that occurred this Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened on Washington Street and Martin Avenue at 3:30 p.m. right by Edward Hospital.

The cars involved in this crash were a Ford Expedition, a black Ford Taurus, a blue GMC sports utility vehicle and a small Dodge.

People were reportedly injured in this crash and a man has been taken into custody by the police. As of press time, the man’s identity is unknown and the identity of the people injured with the extent of their injuries are unknown.

Hillside Road and Washington Street were closed shortly after the accident, but the road is now operable to the general public.
