Mr. NCHS Q & A: Sawyer Jackson

Freja Sonnichsen, Editorial Editor

Q: What was the most memorable thing you did under Mr.NCHS preparations?

A: The most memorable thing in our show is probably our dance rehearsal – they’re pretty crazy. In the show we do an all guys dance (with) three dancers teaching us the dance, but it took so long to get the stuff done. (It’s not that we were bad dancers), but we would get distracted very easily.IMG_0018

Q: How has the relationship been between the contestants?

A: I think (Mr. NCHS) has really brought us together, most of us were friends before, but we weren’t as close (as now). I think (we’re going to continue to be close).

Q: Has there been a competitiveness?

A: Not really, everybody has been supporting each other.

Q: What will your talent be for the show?

A: I’m going to be singing “Come Fly with Me”, because I’ve found success with vocal jazz, and I feel it’s the best way to showcase my talent, which is singing.

Q: What has been the most difficult part of the show?

A: The most difficult was selecting the music and selecting summer wear, because this entire time we are just trying to figure out what will be the perfect outfit with the perfect music to act on.

Q: How did you decide on your costume?

A: I decided to be captain America because it’s something that everyone knows.
