Snow covers Central’s campus on Feb. 2, 2022.

District 203 has called an e-learning day for Friday, Jan. 12 due to anticipated severe weather conditions.

All students are expected to complete class work assigned to them by teachers during the e-learning day. Teachers have until 9 a.m. on Jan. 12 to post assignments to Canvas.

Parents and students were notified of the e-learning day by the district via e-mail, phone calls and social media on Thursday afternoon.

DuPage county is expected to be hit with more than 8 inches of snow and wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour according to a National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning issued Thursday afternoon.

This is the district’s second e-learning day of the 2023-24 school year. The first came on Sept. 6 due to a power outage.
