On April 26, many Central students participated in the annual Day of Silence by selecting to remain silent for the school day unless required to speak as an academic requirement. The students wore cards to indicate their participation. Many more students and staff members wore cards to visualize their support for individuals who belong to the LGBTQ community. Correspondents Kailey Beckham and Esben Theime went behind the scenes of the planning and intentions of the event.
