The Naperville Central girls’ volleyball team played an away match against the Wheaton Warrenville South Tigers for the second annual Dig Pink Match on Oct. 23. The Redhawks and Tigers collaborated with the fundraiser to donate money for breast cancer. This year, a total of $36,400 was raised for the Side-Out Foundation.

The Redhawks fell to the Tigers 19-25 in the first game of the match, but came back the second game 25-17 with some of junior Sam Herron’s best spikes. Though the deciding game was close, the Redhawks fell behind again, and Wheaton Warrenville South won 25-20.
