Varsity volleyball triumphs over Naperville North

On Oct. 15, girls’ volleyball traveled to Naperville North for their crosstown match.

Central’s varsity team won the first set 33-31, lost the second set 25-19 and won the final set 25-16, earning them the win over North.

The sophomore team lost its match with first and second set scores of 25-23 and 25-22 respectively. North also beat Central’s freshman A team with a score of 25-22 in the first set and 25-12 in the second set.

The Illinois High School Association regional competition for girls’ volleyball begins Monday, Oct. 26.

Harriet is a sophomore and this is her first year on the editorial board. She travels a lot and has been all over the world. She really enjoys photography, astronomy and drawing/painting. Harriet plays tennis at Naperville Central and she horse rides outside of school.
