Q: What made you want to be a teacher at Central?

A: I was very impressed with the great extracurricular activities and academics here.

Q: What did you do before Central?

A: Recently I taught at Northwest Elementary School which is 45min away from here. Before that, I have been an elementary school teacher, an attorney and a lawyer, specifically within education law.

Q: What sports/activities were you interested in in high school?

A: I was actually editor of our school newspaper in Missouri where I’m originally from, and I [was on the] literary magazine, debate club and science/math club. I also worked at a suicide hotline for teens.

Q: If you were to get in trouble when you were in high school, what would it be for?

A: Probably parking.

Q: Fun fact about yourself?

A: I still work as a lawyer today, but on the side.
