Hot on Netflix: ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’

An oldie, but a goodie.

“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is the probably the best thing that came out of the 80’s, (and let’s not forget, the 1980’s were the decade that brought us synthetic skin and CD-ROM!) and now it makes a reappearance on Netflix.

A simple prospect, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” follows the Titular character as he skips school to go take a trip to Chicago with his friends and kill the clock until summer. Matthew Broderick’s Ferris leads his dutiful, yet anxious sidekick Cameron, played by Alan Ruck, through a series of antics so gutsy that the viewer can’t help but laugh.

For those who have yet to see this masterpiece, I urge you to watch it as soon as possible. If you have seen the film before, fear not. The best part about “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is that it holds up no matter how many times you watch it. All in all, this movie is one of the best comedies on Netflix and should certainly be an option while trying to decide what to watch.
