Central Times: What does your daily schedule look like here at Naperville Central High School?

Tanseem Doriwala: I work half days and arrive here around 11 to teach two classes 7th and 8th hour. Fifth and 6th hour [is] more for coordinating supervision outside of the community.

CT: How would you describe your job?

TD: It’s very exciting and ever-changing. It is so rewarding to see the student’s progress.

CT: What do you think of NCHS so far?

TD: I love the community feeling and I love the technology that is available. I think the student population is very polite, helpful and hardworking.

CT: Why did you choose Naperville Central as the school you wished to teach at?

TD: I’ve heard so many good things about it and I appreciated the opportunity. It is also close to home.

CT: What do you look forward to most when coming to school everyday?

TD: Talking to my students and listening to what’s happened in their day so far. I also love working with my colleagues.

CT: Is this the first teaching job you have had so far? If not, what was the last school you taught at?

TD: No this is not the first teaching job I’ve had. I [previously] worked at a junior high in a different building.

CT: What are you most excited about in the year 2017?

TD: I am most looking forward to seeing some of my students graduate and also seeing my daughter graduate!
