Redhawks of the Week: Freshman Matt Skowronksi

What are your post high school plans?

Meteorology

How do you fit into the NCHS community? What activities are you involved in and what do you contribute inside and outside of the classroom?

I’m currently playing for the freshman basketball team, and hoping to play for the freshman volleyball team.

What are you most proud of?

I’m doing pretty well in basketball. My grades are pretty good.

What is your life dream?

Live happy. Live long. I want to have a family and have a job I love.

What is something about you that you would like other Redhawks to know about you?

I’m probably the tallest freshman. I’m 6’6”.

Favorite high school memory?

I really liked homecoming. That was really fun.

Favorite joke or quote

Why did Cinderella get kicked off the basketball team? Because she ran away from the ball!

What is something you can’t live without?

My phone and my height. [My height] makes me who I am. I’d probably be different than myself without it.

What are three adjectives you would use to describe yourself?

Funny, cool, awesome.

If your life were a movie, what would be the title?

“Too Tall”

Who is your biggest hero or role model?

My dad. He’s a hard worker. He’s loving, kind, nice, how I want to be.

What is a motto you live your life by?

Treat others how I want to be treated.
