Q: What made you want to be a teacher at Central?

A: I grew up close by in a suburban area and have always loved the community. Originally, I wanted to work with elementary school kids, but I changed my mind while I was in college. I wanted to take on a bigger challenge and work with learners who have difficulty learning.

Q:What did you do before Central?

A: I graduated from five years of college in December, and worked as a sub through the end of 2nd semester, so this is my first teaching job.

Q: What sports/activities were you interested in in high school?

A: I was an athlete, and played two years of varsity basketball and soccer.

Q: If you were to get in trouble when you were in high school, what would it be for?

A: I got in trouble once because of a senior prank. My face was caught on camera, even though I wasn’t in the prank.

Q: Fun fact about yourself?

A: I have visited England six times because my Dad is British, so we visit his family there. Also, I could watch Netflix for hours and hours once I get hooked on a show. Some of my favorites are “Nashville,” “Orange is the New Black” and “Revenge.”
